The sky remained obstinately disobedient, following the picture-perfect cues of someone else's presumptive definition of Paradise. Yugito, lacking anything else to remember, presumed this was yet another standard day in which she itched to do something more than haunt the castle and surrounding village for something to engage her mind. The forest wasn't the only other option, but camping further out had proven to be awkward, not the least bit caused by large reptilians ending up in the middle of your camp.

Still, to be completely honest, she was grateful for the mild weather. As quickly as she was moving through the trees, rain would have been fairly miserable.

While occupied with this thought, a motion from something not sprouting roots through to the underground caught her attention and curiosity. Dropping to the ground, Yugito shrugged off any trepidation and called out a welcome. "Pleasant day for a run through the woods!"

The Doctor heard the movement before anything else; the shift in the trees and the air that didn't match the breeze or birds flapping about. He didn't, however, expect it to be a person -- turning to look curiously at the source of the noise, his eyes were quickly caught by a woman jumping to the ground from one of the trees.

He grinned wryly, suppressing a sarcastic comment that yes, today was a pleasant day for that, just like yesterday and the day before and the day before, and he raised a hand in greeting, taking a few steps toward her. He didn't run into people often on these walks, surprisingly. "Isn't it just?"

"As always," she said with a smile, free of irony. To her, this was a fact of Paradisa's experience. A change in weather would be an experience indeed!

"I am Yugito," she said, raising her hand in a mirror of what the Doctor had done moments before. Yugito didn't have a particular set way of greeting people, since most of hers was done through journals, and face-to-face people largely ignored her or didn't strike her interest. "Were you planning on taking a walk through the woods?"

"The Doctor," the Doctor greeted, smiling and giving her a friendly nod. At her question he frowned contemplatively, shrugged, glanced around at the area.

"Was the plan, yup," he said, letting his gaze linger on the setting sun for a long moment. Sunset number four hundred seventy-nine. "Clear the head, see the sights, count the birds," he said flippantly, but then he grinned goofily, raising his eyebrows meaningfully, "discover something new and interesting hidden in these trees. That'd be nice."
