Who: Akito (fangedking) & Agito (pulverizing) What: A tour, and a hell of a lot of questions. When: Sometime today. 8Db Where: Around the castle. Rating: PG-13, because Agito swears a lot. :|
"You...!" He was cut off as Akito fell down the stairs. Agito saw it coming, but much too late to reach out and grab him. Thankfully they weren't high up, and Akito did this sort of thing all the time. Agito knew that. He would have naturally finished the sentences with "Dumbass" or "Moron" or "Idiot" or something, but it was Akito, not some sad fuck who needed to be corrected.
So he just sighed and followed him down the stairs. He looked him over, making sure he hadn't accidentally done something ridiculous like twisted his ankle... But he was fine, as expected.
"You alright?"
It was odd, not looking at it from the other side of a cage. Usually the two of them could be swapped out--Agito could always take the damage or better yet, avoid it for Akito. But not anymore. This was the sort of thing that worried him.
"You should really... Pay more attention, fuck," he looked off at the side, slightly embarrassed with himself for not have prevented the fall in the first place, "Especially since I'm not in your body anymore."
Agito had thought of Rindo too. Rindo wasn't with him, since he was the outsider. If they were lucky, Rindo was another person entirely now. If they weren't, well, Akito was stuck with him. Agito didn't like that idea. He took Akito's hand again, like he would when they were in those dreams.
"But I'm still going to worry."
He started walking again, hoping they could stay off the awkward subject for a while. Where were they going again? Outside? What floor were they on--he'd lost track.
"What floor are we on?" He voiced the question, "They all look the fucking same."
He hummed a small note to affirm that he understood. His hand felt odd, just hanging by his side, so he stuffed it into his pocket. He wondered if that magical closet of his had his hooks around somewhere. They might come in handy.
More silence. He fished around for another topic, but decided firmly that he'd let Akito choose the next one. He was doing far too much talking.
"What have you been doing for nine months?" It was a vague question, that could be answered any number of ways. And it would clue him into just what Akito had been up to that he didn't know about.
"Huh. That's good." Agito took all of it in and let it process. So he really had been keeping himself busy, that was good. It was... Still really fucking weird to hear that he'd been there before, even though his brain told him that he was in other places at the time. Other places back home.
Martial arts, that was good. But wait.
"How long has that idiot Crow been around for?"
How long were they both going to be stuck there for, he wondered? Everyone went home sometime, he figured, though what if they didn't go at the same time? And more importantly, what would he be doing in the meantime? Usually when there was nothing for him to do, he'd just switch places with Akito. He'd have to find... A hobby... Or something.
"That's fucked up," He said bluntly, "So people just end up leaving and coming at any moment?" He didn't like the idea at all, as shown by the small frown that made itself a little more visible. That meant that the only real thing he could depend upon was uncertainty, which wasn't good.
He didn't think he'd really like it here. With all those people... Depending on him back where he should be, it didn't really make sense that he'd enjoy his time in Paradisa. At least, not as it was looking now. They went down another set of stairs, still holding hands. He sighed. This wasn't about him. As long as Akito was here, he had a reason to be here too.

He decided to think about it later. Much later.
