"You WHAT?!" The words escaped her before she could think of a proper response. She followed him to where he was sitting, standing in front of him. "Oh, come on," she said, slightly annoyed still. "If I didn't care, do you really think I'd be in here in the first place? I even told you I was concerned earlier. For someone as smart as you, you sure aren't using your head here." Ino nodded carefully, listening intently. She put her palm to her forehead, leaning her head back a little and sighing again, this time with a more frustrated tone. She knew what she needed to say, but could she get it out? She had already said the wrong thing repeatedly throughout this whole conversation. She put her hands on her hips and inspected him carefully.

"If you defeated this woman before, then why don't you defeat her again? Make a deal; say that if you beat her a second time she has to leave you alone." Although she had no idea how he could have defeated any kind of warrior. She frowns, though, as the heavier part of what she wanted to say comes.

"Anyways, that was just a suggestion," she said, shaking her head. "If what you say is true, and you really do like me, then here's the question. You've told me the problem. What are you going to do to solve it ( ... )

"It's not that simple." Though he had not tried it, he couldn't imagine it working. Judging from how Shampoo's laws operated, men were treated the same way women were in a distant past. They were property which had to be bargained for, and instead of inspecting them they fought them to weed out the best fighters. They probably tried to find the strongest match in order to produce stronger generations ( ... )

Ino folded her arms as well. Not because she was thinking, though, but because she was irritated at how ... well, dumb Kaiba was being. Did she really seem that untrustworthy? She was always serious when it came to things like this. Although, she thought, I guess it's a little unfair to expect him to know that, since we've only known each other for a short while. She sighed, looking straight into Kaiba's eyes.

"Of course I won't regret it. Unless I get killed in the process, because then I'll come back and haunt you mercilessly for the rest of your life." She grinned. She was joking, of course. If Kaiba had beaten this woman, then it would be no sweat for her. Her self-confidence was running the show now. "So? What do I do?"
