Vergil was a master of silence when he needed to be. And considering that his brother had essentially thrown a fit and stormed out of the castle, now was as good a time as any to put those skills to work. And besides, he knew well how this would end. But before that time came, he would follow his dear brother around silently and carefully.

Watching him as he went around in circles, waiting for him to come out. He wasn't just about to give in and let Dante have what he wanted. Now that would be just too easy.

One thing easily noted when Dante was in such a mood that he was in now, was that his patience decreased a considerable amount; to the point that it was no long existent. He knew Vergil was there, even if the bastard was silent he could still feel him there, watching and being a complete and utter prick but staying hidden. Because he knew it'd eventually drive Dante nuts ( ... )

A smirk crawled onto Vergil's face as he watched Dante finally come clean. His patience, which was nothing substantial anyways, had dwindled into the negative, and now it was time for Vergil to come out and do what he did best. Belittle his brother and then get into a big ugly fight with him. The normal bonding exercises that the two brothers got into at any given time.

Vergil didn't come out, or even stop moving in his hidden circle. That would be too easy for him. He did, however, answer back.

"Brother, I'm wounded. Is your little tantrum more important than your dear brother?" Truth be told, Vergil was doing everything he could to find something or someone to pay attention to. To ignore that nagging voice in his head. The one that sounded like the past.

Oh yes disembodied voices were so very scary and mysterious. Dante rolled his eyes and sighed, really he had no patience for Vergil and his little games. For the moment, as small as it was going to be, he'd humor the asshole; but that wouldn't last very long. "Of course it is." Sarcasm dripped from his voice heavily as he stood there, still unmoving, eyes glancing around for even a flicker of blood. They had long since triggered, whites of his eyes going dead black while usually blue irises turned red, it improved his vision allowing him to see past the shadows and so forth ( ... )

Vergil decided to humor him in return, stepping into view in a typical dramatic fashion. Standing atop the coffee shop, his illustrious jacket flowing in the wind in a mesmerizing fashion, and staring down at his brother in the same, superior fashion he always would. It just wouldn't be a good old fashion stalking without the dramatic appearance and sanctimonious presence.

With Vergil, it was always a package deal.

"I wouldn't say that." He had used his creepy and mysterious "thing" to the full advantage over the last few days. It had it's purpose, and while he would never admit it verbally, it served as a great means of entertainment. "Perhaps it just loses it's value when the subject is yourself. After all, we can never hide from each other." It was true.

"You say that like it should matter to me." That had disdain in it, something that he carried as a secret weapon against Dante. "When was it that you became so easy to distress?"

Dante rolled his eyes. That was so typical of Vergil; he couldn't enter like a normal person. Noo, he had to be all dramatic. It only made him look like a pansy in Dante's eyes, and a closet homo. A mixture of the two made his head spin; the thought of Vergil skipping in a field of flowers was enough to make him vomit.

"Yeah, makes hide and seek get boring really quickly." Dante muttered with another roll of his eyes, this was getting boring quickly, if Vergil didn't do something interesting to keep the devil hunter's attention quick he was just going to walk off.

A twitch quickly developed in his right eye, foot tapping sharply against the ground and arms crossed across his chest. It was the annoyed stance, or impatience stance, either way it displayed his disposition quickly clearly. "When did you give a flying fuck?" He wasn't distressed! He was annoyed! There was a clear difference between the two!
