A high-pitched whistle erupted from behind a pillar as Greed stepped out.

"Sup, darlin'?" he laughed, popping his shoulder and pushing his hands lazily into his pockets, "You wait long?"

"No, I arrived a few minutes ago." She said brusquely. "So, where are we headed?" she asked as they walked out the front gate.

"A local store," he said, walking up beside her and holding out his arm, "It's only proper for an escort, my lady."

She wasn't blushing, was she? No, of course not. Ashe tried to assure herself that the warmth in her face was from the breeze and nothing more as she politely took hold of Greed's arm. She was a little surprised how hardened his muscles were.

"Goodness, you must work out a l-" she covered her mouth as if horrified. What kind of an observation was that?

Ashe burned red at the suggestion. "H-Have you not seen enough? This is near humiliating!" She spoke with indignation, but turned slightly, keeping her narrowed eyes on the homunculus. "May I please change now? I regret allowing you to choose. To think women wear such undignified things, in public...!"

Greed frowned deeply and crossed his arms, cocking his head to the side.

"Pfft. Fine, fine, whatever. Change all ya' want. Choose what YOU like," he huffed, dismissively shutting the changing room door and sitting back down. This was why he usually didn't date higher-class girls. They were far too uptight.

Stepping out of the skimpy two bit swimwear, Ashe made a decision.

She took a deep breath and said, "I should think that I'll never adapt if I act so mild. Leaning her head out of the booth, Ashe said politely, "Screw it, pass me the next one." She hoped she could bring his smile back; she wasn't sure why it was so hard to leave him disappointed, but her pride overpowered her bashfulness.

"I do not think modesty plays a part in this type of situation, so I shall do my best to act as such. Would that be better?" said Ashe, smiling.

He immediately perked up and eagerly handed her the last suit.

"Atta' girl! That's the way to do it. Throw caution to the wind! That's how I live my life."
