Akira flops backwards onto the bed, landing parallel to where Akito is sitting. Folding his hands behind his head and shrugging a little, he grins up at the other boy. "Mm. I was mostly going to leave that up to you." He pauses. "But I did bring food in case you're hungry." Akira moves one of his hands out from behind his head, the back of his hand moving across one of Akito's cheeks. "Because either you haven't been eating well lately or you're not sleeping enough." A sigh. "Or both, knowing you."
His hand drops back down, resting on top of his stomach as he turns his head to look at Akito better. "I don't want you to get sick."
Akira sighs and rolls over onto his side, hand stretching out and reaching for Akito's wrist again, giving a slight tug to pull him down on the bed. Before a protest -- if any -- can be made, he wraps his arms around Akito's shoulders and nuzzles at the top of his head, exhaling slowly. The thought of Akito getting sick because of lack of sleep or food concerns him, makes his stomach twist into unpleasant knots that he'd really rather not have there. Laying for a moment in silence, he eventually loosens his arms a bit in case Akito wants to pull away.
"You might. And if you do, I'm going to be really upset."
When Akito doesn't move away, Akira locks his arms around him again, his left hand playing with the hair at the nape of Akito's neck before moving up, fingers combing through it as he sighs, breath evening out. Closing his eyes, Akira relaxes considerably, suddenly finding that despite how awake he was moments ago, the comfort of Akito's bed and having him curled up against his chest is tempting him to sleep again far too easily. Despite knowing this, he doesn't even make an attempt to move away. Instead, he curls a little closer, releasing another rather content sigh.
"I always worry about you. Comes with the territory." He smiles.
Food and the thoughts of a proper breakfast now forgotten, Akira simply allows himself to drift even closer to the comforting lull of sleep that seems to come too easily when he's curled up somewhere with Akito. Whether it's credited simply to his best friend, or if he can sleep easier just with someone else's presence, Akira isn't completely sure; he doesn't care to find out, either, because for the moment, he's rather happy to just lay here with Akito. He takes a deep breath, a yawn escaping at the same time, arching his back a little to stretch it before relaxing down into the bed again.
As he begins to drift off, he finds himself alert again, almost immediately as Akito speaks. He smiles a bit, giving a small shrug. "The territory that includes caring about you a whole damn lot." Akira pauses. "It just happens to include worrying, too."
Akira hums a bit, one of his hands rubbing across Akito's back rather lazily before coming to rest on his hip. Tilting his head a little, he leans down and nuzzles the side of his head. "I do worry. Because I know you don't take proper care of yourself." He sighs a little, hand moving up along his side before letting the back of his hand slide down along Akito's arm. "And even if you did I'd still worry. It just... happens."
