Well, to be honest she would have gladly welcomed one of those stares. She missed her family, she missed the oniwabanshu. For a moment, her large emerald eyes darkened, but she quickly pushed her darker thoughts away. She would see her family again; in the meantime she just needed to make the best of things here. Yes, she was the leader of the ( Read more... )

In the lobby, he had made a key note of looking for this chick first. Not for anything noble or that, but to check out just who he was chilling with. Not that it really mattered in this case, but still. It never hurt to make a note of who he was going to drink with.

Catching her pushing off the wall, the description matched the girl, and he afforded himself a brief smile. "Moe." He muttered quietly. Ninja outfit, spunky looking, and not to mention, he could already tell there was some bite to her. Like something out of a bitching anime. Taking his hands out of his pocket, he walked over casually.

"Misao?"

Misao was just about sigh in defeat, when she heard her name being called. Whirling around, emerald eyes came to rest on a young man, who was definitely taller than her, but hey who wasn't. Cocking her head to the side, she observed him carefully, large keen emerald eyes taking in every detail. He reminded her somewhat of Sano, which wasn't exactly good, considering how much they fought, but this guy had a certain air about him that seemed almost fun...definitely someone that she could get along with or at least she hoped.

"Travis, I presume," she replied, a grin reaching her lips as she crossed her arms behind her head in a very carefree matter. The look on her face was one of complete childishness, but those that knew her, knew exactly how misleading that image could be at times. Weasel, that's what many called her and it was indeed a fitting nickname, even when she hated it. Misao was definitely a handful, one that hopefully this guy could handle.

"You got it." She was analyzing him. He had seen it a hundred times over. Keen eyes that took him in at total value. It was a tactical reflex of people in their kind of profession. Meet someone knew, do a threat assessment. Were they a friend, were they a foe, or were they an obstacle. Anyone would take her as a ditz, or possibly just a girl with a ninja fetish, but not him.

She looked like fun, but looks could be deceiving. She already told him she was a ninja, so that automatically registered her as a killer. But more than that, her weasel like face made him realize something else. She was going to be a wild party. And he liked wild parties.

"Shall we?"

It was true that Misao could be a ditz at times, her impulsiveness and temper often getting in the way of her thinking clearly, but at the same time she could be very perceptive of those around her. This Travis guy looked until the moment like someone bearable, not foe, but definitely not friend either. Still it wasn't hard for Misao to make friends, but she knew that she should be cautious as well.

"Of course, were wasting precious sake time here!" she announced eagerly, bouncing on the balls of her feet, before she moved toward the older boy...more like young man, a devilish look on her face. Yes, this could be really foolish, but hey life was short. Why not enjoy it? "So where are we going?" she asked recalling something about Lux, but not sure if they were going there.
