It was safe to say that Sora was running down the hallway to see Kairi. It was a mystery why he hadn't run there to see her sooner, how could he not even noticed that she was on that floor? He could be such an airhead sometimes, just like his friends would say.

When he reached the door that clearly said "Kairi" on the nameplate, he paused. She said it was open right? So it would be okay just to go in...but were you suppose to do that with a girl's room?

He decided to take a middle road, and knock while he was opening the door. "Kairi? You here" he said, peering into the other's room.

Kairi smirked. It was so like him to just integrate the two ideas. That way, if she hadn't been ready, he could use the excuse of 'I did knock!' if she got mad. But what was with this question of his?

"... No, Sora, I told you to come over and then left," She said with a slight laugh. Perhaps Axel and Riku were rubbing off on her...

She sat with her hands in her lap until he came all the way in, and then stood up, smiling at him calmly, yet very happily.

He gave a chuckle and scratched his head. Kairi was the same as always, even after all these months....which she really look different at all. He'd have to get used to the fact that for her, it's only been a few days when for him it had been a year.

A long year at that...

A smile came across his face as he met her across the room. This was nice already, remembering her once again. Previous meetings with her in the past when she was here had been...strange. Not remembering her and all did that. But now things were better. Much better.

"We got lucky that we live nearby each other huh?" he decided to say. Asking how people are after they got kidnapped to a giant castle always seemed...stupid to ask.

Kairi just sighed silently, tilting her head to the side and giving him a smile. She'd read up on previous entries, to find where Sora had come. She knew... how long it had been. And here he was, thinking she wouldn't know, thinking she would only be thinking 'I saw him just a few days ago'.

Well, he was wrong...

"Sora, you don't have to act like this. I know it's been a long time for you... You can act the way you want to. You have the right."
