What had happened was... better forgotten, Ulquiorra decided. And he left it that way. He could not be blamed for the tricks of the castle, nor could he be bothered to mull over things of the past. He had accepted Grimmjow's heedless challenge to firmly put an end to the chapter of humiliations that had passed.

... Grimmjow was a creature of barely suppressed bloodlust. Treading through the darkness of the forest, following the blaze of hot, angry reiatsu, Ulquiorra had a mind to quench that lust. For the time being, anyways.

As soon as he felt the Ulquiorra's reiatsu, Grimmjow drew his sword, using sonido to appear instantly by the other arrancar's side.

Ulquiorra said nothing, surveying Grimmjow for a brief moment before the attack, a flash of a white hand arcing towards the heart. He would not do the Sixth the honor of drawing out his blade.

His hand shot out, knowing just what type of fighter Ulquiorra was, and Grimmjow grasped the other's wrist in his for a split second before they broke apart.

"Don't bother with that kinda shit," Grimmjow yelled, rushing towards him again with a manic grin on his face. He would only be satisfied with a real fight. None of this half-assed crap Ulquiorra thought he could beat him with.
