Shampoo wished similar things, though not because she'd been lifting books in the library (she hadn't found a need to look through novels which seemed to inexorably not give her an explanation to A) Ranma's lack in this world, and B) the means to return to where she had come from). She'd rather found herself wandering about, searching for what could be a figment of her imagination.

Novels seemed the ideal place in which to begin with such figments.

Eventually, Shampoo felt her interest wander, as this place had provided the same results of everywhere she'd been so far in this castle and the surrounding areas. What she did find, however, was a somewhat amusing youth toting a book which seemed more appropriate for crushing him than being carried by him.

She was mildly impressed to see him manhandle the book onto the table. Enterprising, he was. Enough so that she found herself approaching, with a cheerful (seeming), "Ni hao!"

Standing at the table side, Shampoo looked toward the reference tome. "What you look for in big book

The child peeked over the table-top when he was greeted, blinking several times in response to the strange salutation. Chrisu looked to the book, "Oh. Someone I know lost a book and I was trying to find it for them! I don't know what it looks like, so I'm just looking through the big ones.." This lady looked nice. Maybe she was the librarian for the castle.

She seemed smart, too! That greeting had to be from out of the country; his mother used it before..where was it from.. "Ni Hao.. Oh. Ni hao! You're from China, Miss Librarian?" He hoped that was right.

Shampoo was pleased this child had been able to accurately guess her home country. "Yes, from China. Name no is Miss Librarian," she continued, offering a sort of smug smile. "Is Shampoo." Libraries were well and good, but not her specific cup of tea.

"What know about book looking for?" There were systems to finding novels in a library - with as attendant as the Castle had been to this point, there would seem to be the need of an equally user friendly system. Or else, a means would present itself, most likely.

Chrisu beamed, quite proud he had remembered what country that particular greeting had come from. There were so many different people here with so many different names. Shampoo? Like the stuff that people put on their hair to make it clean? Well that was nice name! It sounded like this lady would smell nice.

About what book he was looking for, even the child didn't know the answer to that. "I don't know." He brought out his journal, opening it to the conversation that he had with the victim of the book theft and pointed to the word she had mentioned. "She didn't say, but she said that this word was book marked so we would be able to find it." Other than that he didn't really have a clue what it looked like or it was about; Actually he didn't even know what the word meant.

"Actually I don't even know if it's here! She said she lost it and I thought that someone might have put it in here by accident."
