Cid wondered for a moment what Vince's reasoning behind choosing the right side of the split was, but dropped that thought only a second after, realizing there probably wasn't any. Neither of them had been out, or knew their way around, so what did it matter, which way they took?
"Guess that's as good as anything." he replied, and begin making his way in the chosen direction.
He paid attention to all the shops that lined up in rows, occasionally broken up by hotels and other structures. None of these were what they were looking for, yet, however. Probably because they'd only just started in. Hopefully, further along...
As his thoughts kept going in such directions, Cid's eye caught sight of a gun and ammo shop. He turned to Vincent, and indicated the place with his thumb.
"Your ass wanna stop, while we're here, or are you good?"

He resumed walking, having paused when Cid pointed out the shop, cracking the knuckles of his human hand against the palm of his prosthetic. He felt as if he should say something, but was not quite sure as to why or what. He'd never been one for idle chatter, and did not have to start now, but something was present in the back of his mind, bothering him.

Not a bad answer, that. And hey, at least he'd given Vince the chance.
Continuing the walk onward, Cid grumbled a little underneath his breath. There hadn't even been any kind of mechanics, let alone part shops, yet. Would they even be able to get the shit they would need from the city, or would his ass have to wait until the castle started feeling gracious again?
It was as he was mentally cursing those thoughts, and the castle of course, always the castle, that something finally hit home in the pilot's head.
Vincent had his memories back, right? Yeah, yeah, the guy was pretty hushed by nature, but why did all the damn quiet around them feel so weird then?
"Fucking hell, this is annoying." Cid spoke simply and about everything in general. "Is this place even going to fucking indulge us any?"
Questions were good.

Cid, in his own thoughts, not as Vincent could read them but still, was correct. The quiet did feel weird. And he knew what was bothering him on the inside was beginning to obstruct his ability to converse with Cid. Therefore...
"Cid?"
