Debitt swatted irritably at his twin - he quite disapproved of the jacket-clinging for reasons he couldn't quite put his finger on. Most of the week had been like this, Debitt mused, wandering the castle aimlessly, most of the time not knowing why they had started wandering in the first place.
Now that he thought about it, why were they down here? The Noah frowned and tried to search his jumbled mess of a memory - the only thing that he could recall was the 'ding!' of the elevator. Debitt snickered. 'Ding!' was a pretty kick-ass noise.
"Whaddya want!?" he growled at his brother, turning to glare at Jasdero. Not that glare would DO anything, of course, Jas was too far gone to particularly care.
Jasdero made another squeaking sound, expression still dazed as he released Debitt's hood, almost instantly starting to wander in a completely different direction. It took him a few steps while his brother was talking, but then he bumped against a wall, falling back with a "hii". He managed to get to his feet all the same, starting off in another direction with the full intention of walking until something stopped him again. At least he'd figured out that much, after the first few days....
Debitt stopped and stared at Jasdero - it was a stare of fascination, or at the very least the sort of stare that said "What the hell are you doing?". Of course he lacked the eloquence to put the expression on his face into words - it didn't really matter. Right now Jasdero probably didn't know what a "what the hell?" implied anyway.
The door had swung open behind him and he turned to...to whoever had just come out into the hallway. Tyki.
He stared at the other Noah for a good, long moment. Yes, he knew who this was. It would come to him in a moment. The gears in his head turning slowly as they struggled to churn out some form of thought. Those gears seemed rather rusty this week, as Debitt had discovered over and over again.
"...Tyki?" he asked, his face contorting into a confused scowl. "The fuck's he doin'?"
"Debi~" He said it quite happily, looking directly at Tiki as he spoke. "Hii~" He really had no idea what the hell was going on, but that was perfectly alright. After all, he didn't know what he didn't know, and stupidity was bliss. Then he kept walking, and walking, and headed straight for the wall at the end of the hall. He wasn't there yet, but he was sure he could make it through this one. If none of the others had worked, then this one had to!
Debitt muttered something that must have been profanity and flicked Tyki off. They were lost on the second floor, but Debitt wasn't stupid enough to actually own up to that.
"Jasdebi's...Jasdebi's not lost," he sputtered, though the small portion of his brain that was still functional was informing him otherwise.
