What: Kadaj is back to normal and Lana's all *FLAIL* MY KADAJ IS BACK so she's going to see him

When Kadaj became "normal" again, it was like waking up from a nightmare. He remembered what he had done but it felt so unreal. If he didn't have evidence he wouldn't have believed it really happened. At least his room was back to the way he liked it and whatever he had done during the week had been fixed by the castle. Well... except those poor rats he had killed.

Kadaj hoped and feared seeing Lana after this. He was sure he hadn't been very nice to her. He lay on his bed waiting. Hearing the knock he gave a startled jump. "Lana?" he called to the door anxiously. "Lana!" It could be no one else. Beaming, he got to his feet and hurried to the door. He flung it open and grabbed the unsuspecting girl in a tight (but luckily not crushing) hug.

Lana fidgeted at the door as she waited for him to answer. It had been a stressful week all around and Kadaj's 'condition' had aggravated it significantly. However... she had been very rude to him...no MEAN to him in their last interaction and that bothered her a lot.

She perked up a little when she heard her name but Kadaj bursting through the door to wrap his arms around her. But that was, in fact, exactly what he did. She squeaked in surprise and just blinked for a moment, too startled to really react. Of course she was startled, she couldn't recall a time that Kadaj had ever done anything of the sort. In fact, Kadaj rarely initiated hugs, it was usually her.

After a moment, though, she smiled and wrapped her arms around him, resting her cheek against his chest. She just stood that way for a while before saying, "Hello, Kadaj," quietly.

It felt like he hadn't seen her in a week... which he hadn't. He had been doing weird things for the past week and had barely written to her on the journals. Now that he could see her again, he could fully realize just how much he missed her. It felt really good to have her in his arms again. Lana had assured she didn't hate him but he was still so glad she had stopped by.

"I missed you," he told her, relaxing his hold on her so he could smile happily down on her. "I feel like I've been away for a while."

Lana smiled at him, "Oh man, did I miss you too," she said with a smile. It was true. She hadn't seen much of him recently anyway and having the option taken away from her wasn't something she found very pleasant at all. In fact she found it distinctly unpleasant and would prefer not to have to deal with it again...ever.

She chuckled softly at his next comment and nodded, "You were. I'm not even sure exactly what the castle DID to you but it was very weird. I think you might have even freaked out Sephiroth a little...in which case I think you may be entitled to congratulations." She winked at him. Lana actually wasn't entirely sure how much Kadaj understood of humor but if he didn't have it figured out yet he would soon so she may as well start using it.
