Who: Lana, Raphael What: Lana's bringing Raph some alcohol (yes she seems to be the castle supplier!) When: Nowish Where: Raph's room (1915) Rating: PG-13 for Lana's naughty language? ..if there is any? XD
Raph tapped his pen rapidly on the desk in front of him. He stared at the journal resting there absently. When he heard the knock a smirk spread over his lips before his eyes flickered to the door.
He shut the journal and shoved it to the side and set the pen down all while standing up in one smooth motion. He realized the lady would probably faint at the sight of him, but all the more amusement as far as he was concerned. After April, it was all too familiar to him to really bother anymore.
He sauntered to the door and, half-heartedly, called out, "Who is it?" in his thick Brooklyn accent. Truthfully, he knew who it was. Who else would be here this late at night but the person he'd just "chatted" with? He opened the door a crack and peered out at the lady with the booze.
Lana tapped her nails boredly against the glass of the bottle as she waited for her knock to be answered. She was feeling crazy impatient tonight for some reason. She couldn't put her finger on why. Could have been because she just really needed to blow off some steam this week and hadn't had the opportunity.
Dancing with Balthazar, she reminded herself. She had to reschedule that. Tomorrow.
"who is it?"
Lana raised one brow then the other soon followed in an expression that read very much as 'what the hell?' The door began to crack, "Santa Clause. Sorry I'm late this year... the reindeer got drunk.." She paused then added, "You may not recognize me, what with the sex change and all." She could only see an eyeball poking through the crack in the door through the darkness. She let her brows drop back to their normal position and a smirk to play along her lips.
Raph cracked a half smile, half smirk and chuckled a bit while he was at it. "As long as you brought the goodies, I'm cool with whatever you like, Santa." A pause. "But what does Mrs. Clause think of it?" he said with a slight lilt of laughter.
He stepped back and opened the door. With the way he stepped though the door shielded his body from view so that only his out stretched hand, waving her inside, could be seen from his new position.
Lana chuckled and raised the bottle, waggling it. "Oh, child, the divorce was finalized years ago. I think she was afraid I'd make a prettier woman than her....which she was right. Mrs. Clause never was one to be known for her looks."
Lana shook her head. She disguised the mystified look as he opened the door for her. Something was strange about his hand? And was it the light or was his skin green? How BIZARRE!
Well in a place like this she needed to stop expecting everyone to be human. She was a little weirded out by the fact that he had been hiding the rest of his body from her. Maybe he was a giant squid or someting....er... a squid with hands. Whatever.
She entered the room, tapping her fingers idly on the bottle and looking about absently.
