Ten waved to them both, smiling. "'lo," he repeated. Then he stood there, because how was he supposed to act with Rose? He started wondering all these things, like how he'd acted with her, how close they'd been, and just how well they'd known each other, anyway--for a second he figured she'd come out with something he would've known before he arrived in Paradisa. Then he'd be cornered, then things would go south.

"Nice seeing you again, Rose!" Oh well.

Shocker number 2 dried up her tears quicker than anything. Right there was her ... current Doctor in all his pinstripe suit and well worn-in chucks glory.

And there she was standing next to her first Doctor, the original. Habit made her grab his hand. There, that grounded her a bit, though the familiarness of it nearly made her want to cry in joy and sadness all over again.

Her mouth dropped open and she looked back and forth between the two of them, completely speechless. This was absolutely positively without a doubt complete and utter madness. Impossible. And probably the biggest timeline muckup in the history of the universe.

"H-hello," she managed to choke out. She took a tentative step toward him and poked him in the arm. She gasped. Definitely just as solid and real as the other.

Yep, definitely complete madness.

Nine looked at Rose's shocked expression for the second time that day and then nodded in the direction of his other self.

"Imagine how I felt. Show up in a strange castle and right away he's all 'Hello! I'm you!'"

Actually, now that he thought about it, he'd taken that news rather well. But then, that came with the territory. Once you'd regenerated a few times, it stopped surprising you to learn you'd died and ended up someone else. Though it was a bit strange to meet that person face to face before it happened.

Ten couldn't help but grin, despite everything. "Yep, s'really me! In the flesh, all that." He smiled at her, seeing as this seemed to be the happiest and most confusing day of her life.

Eyes moving to Nine when he spoke, the grin stayed. "How d'you think I felt? All of a sudden I see my past self poking round the journals. Then everyone else was confused, 'cause I'd already introduced myself as the Doctor, then... bah." He waved a hand, dismissing it. "Anyway! We're all here now."

Shock started making the way for confusion as the two Doctors started talking to each other. This just wasn't happening ... and yet it was.

"R-right ... all here now." Shouldn't be though.

Her free hand waved feebly to gesture to both of them. "Somebody want to explain all this ... and the TARDIS. Why isn't she working?"
