Lente's Point Expedition - Day 1

[The sound of a pair of TARDII warping in disturbs the bucolic peace of this place. The doors come open and the travelers, some perhaps a little worse for the wear after that abrupt trip, walk out into the morning sunshine.

It's time to begin the trek southward.]

TRAVELING

[It is a relatively easy journey as the expedition team begins their journey, some on foot, some mounted. Plenty of time to talk. Felix isn't pushing for a terribly fast pace, at any rate. There is lots to see.

The terrain slopes gently and consistently upward, thick trees covering most of them. Who knows what might be within?]

I specifically remember the one with the spiders was because Joy came to us asking for help and we agreed to go.

[Leans her head back toward the sky, trying to recall some of the details.] Was that... they were under attack by the Iron Suits, right?

[brbfisting]

[ a brief pause. ]

That's what she was saying. They eventually did kill her.

[ar0se]

Oh. [That does lend credence to her story...] I guess it's safe to say I hope we don't run into those guys. Not like this anyway. [She looks at the palm of her hand, as if that had anything to do with her powers. Can't really look at her own brain, though.]

[ a part of him wouldn't mind it. he really... really wants to take one of those guys down. ]

From what I'm used to, it tends to be quiet the first couple of days into these things. Then we need to be more vigilant.

I'll have to keep that in mind... Oh, dang! I should have brought an electric weapon, huh? If we're going to be fighting robots.

Electronics don't actually work out here.

Oh, yeah. ... Well, that's no fair. They get killer death bots, and we can throw our shoes at them. [Joking of course, she would not really throw one of her nice new shoes at a killer death bot.]

They're powering those iron suits somehow.

[Hmm. Thinks she has heard about that- oh yeah.]

It could be those crystals.

[brbfisting]

[ a slow nod. ]

Has to be. But then, where did they get theirs from?

[ar0se]

[le shrug] The same place Flora got hers? Or there could be multiple deposits out there.

[brbfisting]

I guess we'll find out eventually.

[ar0se]

Maybe even this very trip! Who knows?
