Lente's Point Expedition - Night 1

[The day begins to come to a close as the expedition presses on. The coming darkness is even more obvious in the dim light of the canopy, and it soon becomes clear enough that a halt would have to be called.

Felix kicks his horse forward so that he's near the head of the group. Hopefully, with people wandering off here and there to investigate they'

AROUND THE CAMPFIRE

[Camp is set and everyone is finally getting settled. The forest is mostly silent tonight. Time to relax, sit around the fire and enjoy some food - perhaps you're enjoying Galadriel's Lembas or cooking up something of your own. It's a good time to compare notes and toss around some theories about this strange place.

Who knows what will happen tomorrow?]

[He smiles a little]

Thank you. This is not exactly my area of expertise. I was more like a scholar at home. I might as well be one, here, especially without my magic.

Oh. [That's a dreadful thought] No. I meant just here in the Dead Zone. I don't really have many skills beyond that.

Well...you could always learn other things! I mean a lot of the things out here that I know I had to learn when I was here...

[He nods] I've had my hands full comprehending the technology I've encountered here. And I have also learned to cook a little. Though nothing that merits itself to defense or survival.

Well small steps, at least! I'm sure someday if you work hard enough, you'll be an expert at survival and defense!

[We'll assume that sometime after has finished his note taking, he'll slowly be creeping up behind Allen, when he seems the most lost in thought and unlikely to notice. No matter how ridiculous it makes him look, before doing a move similar to what he'd done on their first expedition together. Grabbing at this shoulders roughly and briefly]

[The attempt is successful! Allen yelps and falls back when he feels his shoulders being grabbed]

[Arthur: 2, Allen: -9000! Aw yeah. Arthur will step back to let Allen fall back into the ground, and look down at him with a large, smug grin]

[From the ground, Allen looks up with a flat look. ]

[he'll slowly move to sit back up]

Fun or not, I hate those names.

That is what makes it so amusing.

[But he'll move around to sit beside him, leaning in to kiss his cheek once he's sitting up properly]

[he'll move to lean against him as he does that, you have bee promoted to pillow]

[So it will never stop happening. Well, at least it's promoted to pillow, and not demoted to sleeping outside the tent, and he'll settle an arm over his shoulder]
