I was working on Veritaserum and Felix Felicus potions in my room; they were left unattended while Paradisa had me confined. As they require constant attention... [sniff sniff, prod, stir] Yes, they are both quite ruined.

No, not at all. Felix Felicis takes at least six months, and many of the ingredients need to be planted and picked at precise times. [sigh] I'll need another thunderstorm. And pickled eye of a twice cursed toad.

I'm an excellent potion-maker, though. I'll just start over.

Yes, quite a lot. I was practising my potion-making by attempting two of the most difficult ones: Veritaserum and Felix Felicis.

It's fine, Euphemia, my girl. I can start right away, though I'll need certain specific conditions to help along with the brewing of the potions. I'm simply very irritated about it.

I had no fixed purpose in mind, really. Those two are among the most difficult to brew, so I thought I'd give myself a challenge, seeing that I have nothing but time on my side here in Paradisa.
