[Sam has been kind of worried about his brother. He hasn't heard from him since before his loss ended. He figures now's as good a time as ever to go and see how he's doing. But as he turns to actually look at Dean's door, he hears Cooper whining on the other side, and sees that the nameplate was gone. He doesn't want to believe it, so he pushes open the door]

Easy, easy Cooper. [quiet as he's rustling around and sighs as he realizes that he's really gone]

...Damnit. Not again.

[runs a hand over his face before leading Cooper out] C'mon, boy. Let's go.
