It appears that Cair Paradisa has the ability to not just move life about, but to create life, as though by merely wishing for it to exist ... Creating sentient life is no small matter. And yet, to have so neatly blended the attributes of each parent.

Indeed! It is as though each child was deliberately designed to represent its parents, however unlikely the union may be ... But that is a mere daydream.

And how do you justify that it is a daydream, when the evidence before our eyes would suggest otherwise?

I only meant that for a third party to design children, carefully matching castle residents' attributes ... Well, that is a most unsettling thought. I would not seriously consider a conclusion like that, without decisive proof of Cair Paradisa being sentient in its own right.
