A few people have pointed out the "April showers bring May flowers" thing. Might be a whole month.

The farmers' fields are probably going to get washed out, if this keeps up.

Can't claim I remember, but I'll bet he did. Anyone would hate it.

If everything washes out, the town will have food shortages. I guess the castle will be supporting them in that case.
