[Ashura looked over and smiled. He remembered the boy from the cupcakes, recalling he had quite liked them. But then, what wasn't to like about cupcakes?]

They just want to help out, which is fine by me. It means I spend less time searching for ornaments and more time hanging.

[One floated up to him with an aura of pink and he grabbed it, Espeon yawning as Flareon darted past with one of its own.]

Hmm? Oh, they are called Pokemon. The red and yellow is a Flareon I call Agni and the purple one is Felix's Espeon.

[a short distance away the third floor entrance to the library opens and Barnaby walks right on out, intending to head on up to the next floor above to get some much needed peace in his room. as he's gotten used to doing though, he makes an effort to check the hallway (for both people and fairies) before walking and he notices someone with their cats-- .........or at least they'd look like cats from a distance.

out of sheer curiosity, he adjusts his glasses and tries to see if he can get a better look at the animals. if they do happen to be cats then there's no way they're normal cats]

[Not normal indeed. The red one has to much yellow fur to be any sort of cat, and the purple one is, well, purple, has a jeweled forehead and a split tail. Not to mention they do not 'meow' - the go 'Flare!" and "Eee~!"

Also, the purple one is using psychic powers to hand Ashura ornaments.]

[well that's not something you see every day. people with powers are one thing but animals are a completely different story.

[The animals prance about, helping with ornaments and sniffing at the poinsettias, though Ashura kept them from eating them due to their poisonous nature.
