[Do smells go over the journal? Jo hopes so, because the Lux smells so good.]

Does anyone not have Thanksgiving day plans? Because, if you don't, which I'm sure some of you don't, you should come down to the Lux.

It's a holiday in North America. Canada has one too, but it's at a different time. It's meant to celebrate the coming harvest that the first settlers had to deal with.

Over time though, it's just become an excuse to eat a lot of food and then go Christmas shopping the next morning.

That's the gist of it. It's a big historical event, but the reviews are mixed when it comes to the why and how important it is. Plus, there's historical accuracy that might get people upset.

So, food. That's what I focus on.

I'm sure it's an adjustment, losing that amount of time, but you don't have to treat it like Thanksgiving. You can always just eat a lot of good food.
