They probably look like odd expedition leaders... A petite Japanese woman and an incredibly young-seeming boy, but hey people, you know looks can be deceiving

[ Rin will be approaching people as they arrive to have them 'sign in' so to speak, and Jr. will be making sure everybody's brought the supplies they need.

Say your goodbyes, get to know your fellow travelers if you haven't already, or just chill out on a couch until it's time to go! ]

An hour before (~8am).

[Carolina's arriving an hour early, as suggested by York. She really doesn't have any goodbyes to say, so she'll be chilling and waiting for what she hopes will be the rest of her team. With her pack already shouldered and ready to go, she's standing with her arms crossed, almost a little too excited to go do something that isn't sit around and work on a holographic lock for her door. ]

[Traipsing slightly ahead of York, and surveying the gathered adventurers with a certain amount of intelligence, is a three legged cat. Since Carolina is a new face here she's getting a little more of an intense stare. ]

[Well now Carolina can check "be stared at by a cat" off her to do list. The pieces are easy enough to put together: York + cat means that the cat is likely Noble Two. It's an interesting first meeting to say the least, but the freelancer would rather be safe than sorry. She squats down to put herself on as even a level as she can with the other soldier, nevermind the pack on her back.]

[ After nine, The TARDIS, as per usual, has given the group a head start on this trip. As soon as a person steps out and across the barrier, the Dead Zone's dampener affect is pretty instantaneous.

From here on out it's travel the old-fashioned way! It's going to be a long walk, with Jr. leading the way. He might occasionally pull back to check on or chat with others, but Sylvanas also knows the way, so everybody's in good hands.

Anybody know any travel games? ]

I'd ask how to play, but it does sound fairly obvious. [Daine grins down at the girl.]

Sure is. Everyone else tries to guess which of the three things is a lie. It works great with big groups.

[River is all packed up and ready to go. Dressing her military camouflage outfit with her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail, yet even that can't suppress all of her curls

There's a pistol strapped to her right hip by a leather holster and a large machete looking knife strapped to her left hook. This isn't her first expedition by far]

I certainly hope you won't be needing that for anything more dangerous than a climbing vine.

[She doesn't seem the least bit surprised to see him. Why, she doesn't even startle]

You know me, always come prepared to shoot something. But really the machete is an all-purpose tool. It's barely even sharpened.
