I don't believe I've had the time to go on one of these yet. It would do me some good to see just how far this place reaches. I can put classes on hold a while and perhaps make extra salve packs just in case.

[What are layers to wear though what is this mystery thing, Rin]

This place definitely reaches a lot further then a small jaunt will take us, but it might be a good start. Plus, it sounds like this could potentially be pretty enlightening, given that it's ruins and all...

More answers, even vague ones, would be more than this place ever gives us on its own, so anything we find would be worth it.

I can start getting some food ready now, too, just in case anyone forgets. And if we find any extra weapons out there, I can give them pointers and

I'm not sure about that. The castle sure spit up a lot of information when we were losing kids. But being proactive certainly makes me feel better, at least.

[A tut.] I should hope no one would forget food. Or weapons.

For those familiar with such things a multipurpose utility tool would be of great aide on such a thing as well. [James is advocating a Swiss Army Knife yup.]

Multipurpose utility tool? [She has trouble exactly picturing that.] Like what?

It is also called a pocket tool. It is a compact item that has numerous fold out items. Knife, screwdriver, scissors and various other things, also called a Swiss Army Knife to those familiar with the term.

That whole spider mess was a long time ago, wasn't it? [You remember that, Rin. THAT FAIL. Steph's last expedition. Wonder why...]

You gotta get back out there sometime.

I know. And I want to... I think the embarrassment from last time is just about gone.

If I'm released from babysitting duty, then I'm in.

You wouldn't mind if someone new to Paradisa came along, would you?

Hardly. The new people will be taking up the torch of exploration as the old ones filter out, so it's best to be familiar with what's up.

Is this Dead Zone a dangerous place? It sounds ominous.

payback November 11 2011, 05:15:00 UTC
The Dead Zone can certainly be dangerous, but it's actually named the way it is because magic and technology don't work out there. There are trees and animals and things.

Hmmm...animals can be dangerous enough. No people at all? Bandits? Wildmen? That sort of thing.

I figured! :) payback November 11 2011, 08:42:20 UTC
Oh, there are people, and they're dangerous... and the non-human people you meet can be dangerous... there's a great deal of danger. But there are peaceful places and interesting places and beautiful places too.
