What? What is this?

[And with that voice is this music playing repeatedly.]

Wait, so I have to choose, one of them...I see now...

[...James is playing Satchel Monsters Aqua Version, on a Game Boy Color so he could see how it works while he messed around with it. No he doesn't know what he's doing.Alright, fire, water and...wait grass? Grass ( Read more... )

[Adachi also happened to be in the game room, searching through all the movies and DVDs available (n-not because he's looking for any magical girl ones, o-oh no!) and inadvertently eavesdropping. He would've just kept minding his own business except...]

Hey! [TURNS AROUND!!] Don't diss Grass types! They're always the best! The best of the best, even!

This can only end well xD jamesholmes October 24 2011, 00:07:30 UTC
[And that causes James to look up very, very confused.]

I am not, insulting anything. I am merely saying that Grass is not an element and attempting to ascertain why creature would be classified as that, type.

[Yup logic in video games, James must have.]

[scratches his head, looking a little sheepish] Oh...

It's because they're like living plants. So they do things like attack with vines and seeds that drain health. Oh and by absorbing the sun's rays to do a chlorophyll beam or something like that.

[It's okay James is a little confused here...]

Living plants? And, absorbing sunlight to attack? Just how, why...is that possible?

foolreversed October 24 2011, 00:23:23 UTC
Well, they absorb sunlight to eat might as well use it to attack too right? [MAKES ABSOLUTE PERFECT SENSE TO ADACHI]

It's just a game. Games are full of all sorts of impossible, crazy stuff. [like going into televisions- oh wait...]

Yes but the process to transfer that energy into an attack would take more energy then consumed...[And smart James is attempting to make it make sense.]

Yes however most games have some basis in fact. This makes, little sense at all. [TV's not much better.]

Well, neither does a magic castle that somehow has all these things and can also turn its residents into animals, children or... [an uncomfortable pause before this next one] "magical girls"...

What's a magical girl? [You win Adachi he doesn't know that term.]

Huh? Oh it's... Well it's...

[UNSURE... gently shifts the few Cutie Pure, Beautiful Soldier Super Sun and Pretty Honey DVDs under his arm...............]

It's a... girl? Who receives magical powers and uses them to transform into a cute super hero alter ego to defeat evil in the name of love, friendship and justice! Haha... And sometimes there's a whole group of them... yeah.

[He'll just ignore them...he's nice enough for that.]

And the castle has turned, people into these before? [He's been busy recently okay?]

Yeah. Really recently too. It seemed to forgot the part about magical girls actually needing to be girls and not adult men though...

[so much discomfort oh god]

jamesholmes October 24 2011, 03:39:00 UTC
...You mean men, adult men were turned into these magical girls? [That's a bit of a surprise really and he's looking as if he doesn't believe you Adachi.]

foolreversed October 24 2011, 03:42:30 UTC
Yes.

We remained men but had special outfits and transformations and all sorts of silly powers. [that "we" slips out by mistake oops] So I guess it was more like "magical boys" except skirts were still involved.

You were turned into a skirt wearing, quasi hero with abilities. [Yup he caught that we and is now staring at Adachi with something like heart felt apology mixed with amusement.]
