Not gleeful, or smug, or snarky, or even terribly complicated. Just... happy.

She's happy because she has a purpose now, and part of that purpose is to make sure that she spreads that happiness to others. It's too good not to share, you know? Keeping her cheerfulness to herself would be letting them win

[Amelia is really touched by this. No, really. She's been the same way towards people who really just were trying their best, and it's just moving to see someone try to atone for their mistakes. So she doesn't answer over the journal. Amelia will find Faye in person, because they have business to settle too, don't they?]

Look. [A heavy sigh.] We got off to a bad start. But I just saw your post, and I just--well. I wanted to apologize too. I was a jerk that day, and you didn't deserve it.

Oh. [she's surprised! But... it's a pleasant kind of surprise. She looks a little sheepish, then] Hey... don't worry about it. I wasn't exactly a treat to be around.

[seeing Faye in the lobby isn't really all that unusual. Even without knowing her well, Jilly was aware that the other woman had a bit of a claim on one of the couches there.

Seeing her smiling and content, however...
