Has anyone ever tried chard? If you haven't, it's a really... er, "amazing" vegetable. Plus, it's green. I think? And it's my dad's special version of it.

If you want to try some, I'll be in the kitchen. Eating... it.

[Yes, Coraline will be serving her dad's special slime-chard, but there is no way that stuff is touching her lips]

Chard is a vegetable in the same sub-family as the garden beet, although chard.is cultivated for it's leaves instead of it's roots. Chard is high in vitamins A, K and C.
