Of course it does! The Hokage is the leader of Konohagakure. Everyone knows that.

Someday. I have to get stronger first. Plus a new hokage only gets selected once the current one dies and I don't think Obaa-san is going to die anytime soon. She's too tough.

That much is obvious. [So Naruto knew who he was. Well that much alone tells him that Naruto's loss this time isn't the same thing it was when he was previously here]

Sorry for stating the obvious but I've just been kidnapped by a living castle. It's a lot to take in.
