17 blueprints -- Dictated/Upsidedown Action!

[Did you know? Drinking while you're upside-down is difficult!

But Ted, why are you upside down?

Well, Ted's been granted another loss. Lucky him. This time, however, his species has been unchanged. And Ted is kind of wishing that weren't the case, because having gravity flipped for him is rather disorienting and terribly inconvenient.

Thankfully, ( Read more... )

[Rookie was doing his usual thing of heading down to the kitchen for a snack, minding his own business as usual.

Until hearing Ted's voice out of no where. So there's a pause in his movements before he begins to glance around.]

... Architect? That you?

Yeah. That was me.

[Rookie laughs again, casually dropping that hand back down to where it had been resting prior.]

Meant to thank you for the fish, too, but I guess I kind of forgot about all that until now.

[THINKING.]

That whole encounter makes a lot more sense now.

[Snorts.] I imagine it would.

But I'm sorry if I scared you, architect. Didn't mean to at the time.

Hah. Nah, it's fine. At least I'll know who it is next time if you ever have that loss again.

[And then, he pauses to consider.]

...do losses ever repeat themselves for individual residents?

I hope not. [Sighs, tilting his helmet farther back to rest against the wall.] Don't think I'd be able to handle getting stuck like that for another three weeks.

[Even if he had been treated incredibly well, but it still made him feel helpless whenever he couldn't do anything that he would have had no trouble doing as a human.

But eventually there's a pause from him as well when remembering something.]

... I do have a friend that apparently got turned into a frog twice, but I'm still not sure if that was because of a loss or not.

A frog? [He considers this.] It wasn't a red frog, was it?

No. [Curious look.] Black and yellow.

[Assuming he ever did stroll by to check out Washington as a frog whenever he had the ability to. Poor freelancer. >:]

Ah.

[Not going to mention the time he almost kissed a red frog who he doesn't know was Aradia, ahem.]

Anybody I know?

Depends. [Cants his head to the side.]

How many people do you know that wear armor?

You and Kat-- that's about it.

In that case, you probably don't know Agent Washington.

[Then a pause as he considers something, before he finally shrugs and speaks again. Only you could make him talk so much, architect.]

In total, there are four other armored personnel here besides the Spartan and I. All of them freelancers, and for the most part friendly - except for one.

[Frowns a bit, his tone shifting to a more serious note.] That's the Meta. One who I strongly suggest you avoid if you see him, architect, since he's not much for being subtle about beating someone's face in.

Meta? [Ted shifts on his feet.] Alright. What does he look like?

--besides armored. Uh, I guess the better question would be, how's his armor look?

He's big, wears white armor, and has a helmet that looks like a round, golden bubble.

... So he's not that hard to miss.

A round, golden bubble, huh? I guess he really isn't the type for subtlety.
