[Realizing a bit too lately that he probably sounded like a little kid getting a new toy. Which probably wasn't very far from the truth, sure, but it didn't stop him from trying to cover it up all the same.]

[He gives a murmur of a noise in confirmation as he gets up, before proceeding to close the journal and move as quick as he can down to the castle's lobby and out onto the grounds.

Heh. Somehow I feel it's going to be one of the hardest missions of my life, trying to find any peace around here.

How've you been?

I don't feel the rocks on the ground anymore. I think I'm finally used to camping again, and that's been refreshing in a way. Ice cold baths in random creeks aside!

Maybe one of the hardest missions, but also one of the ones with the biggest payoffs, if found! Though who knows, peace can drive people a little crazy for lack of things to respond to.

You know, that was me a while ago. But, I think I'll take the mindlessness of peace over the physical representations of my mind. There's a reason I want that stuff to stay on the inside.
