Hello? Guys? This isn't funny, my birthday isn't for another two months. [ A sigh and she starts pacing, loudly. ]

Fenris? Isabela? [ Long pause. ] ...Anders?

Can someone tell me why I can't smell Lowtown burning anymore and when exactly did magic books become a thing? They would have been incredibly helpful six years ago.

I consider myself as such, but you can never really tell with Mister Broody.

Either way, it's nice to meet someone he knows.

Meeting new people is always so much fun, granted they aren't attempting to kill me. I've gotten pretty lucky so far. [ Which is a very big surprise for her, as half the people she usually meets generally try to kill her. ]

So, who might you be?

[Well, his loss just got about ten times more awkward. At the sound of her voice he whines a bit and scratches at the journal.

Thanks a lot, castle. It would be a lot easier to warn her about crap if he had a voice]

[ The only good thing about this is that he can't scowl at her for talking about how grumpy and broody he is. But that is about it.

She tilts her head a squints at the journal, did someone's pet steal their awesome magical book of awesome? ]

Dog, is that you?

[Of couuurse she'd think it was her dog. He makes a few growling noises in an attempt to dissuade her from that line of thought.

Mental note: Never complain about the journal system and the ease of communication in this place ever again]

[ It's the first logical conclusion okay. But she knows her war hounds growl better than anyone and that was not it, it sounded more like a wolf. ]

Curses and here I thought I'd have someone reliable to count on in magic land.

Magic books would have been helpful in general just about anywhere.

It would have made escaping the underground hell hole a lot easier.
