[ It's been a long time since Alexstrasza's gone near the castle--over a month now. Her sleep was longer than she had planned it to be and not nearly so restful as one would hope, but it feels good to be awake; outside of her nest and once again among the vitality of the outdoors

[Cross is out in town, enjoying a glass of wine with his lunch as he feels that sudden rush of life. A hand goes to his left ear, thumb brushing over the earring as warmth emanates from it. Well, he knows where his next destination is. He sets out shortly afterward, using the Dragonqueen's reach to guide him to her.]

[There is a Jono in the forest today, flying over the treetops, seeing how close he can get before he loses the breeze that carries him. He notices someone strolling around beneath him, so he takes a dive through the branches to see what's up.]

[At Alexstrasza's staring, Jono ruffles his wings a bit, feeling a tad self-conscious all of a sudden.]

Amazin' that summer's held on this long. Where I come from, we're usually seein' th' first frost by now.

[He pauses, thinking about why she's probably staring at him.]

I don' usually look like this, i's a loss I guess. Turned me inta one o' those pony folks, like Fluttershy. I wasn't sure if I liked it at first, but'm gettin' used to it.

So, as promptly as possible, she'll be climbing up on Tad and heading out to find Alexstrasza in the woods.]

[ She won't be hard to find! Alexstrasza's making no attempts to hide her presence as she wades through the forest leisurely :> and when she senses Rin near she'll turn in the direction from which she'll approach to greet her ]

[Ah... well, Alexstrasza is easy to find, with that welcoming aura coming closer and Rin... responding, in turn. Tad speeds up as Alex comes into sight, and Rin lets him jog closer.]
