It's not surprising how multiversal and multi-linguistic this place is. I'm not sure if it's a good thing that the castle just... fixes this for us or not. I sort of wonder just how much we all would've learned about each other if we had to learn to communicate with each other first

You know I almost hope it doesn't come back. I want time to learn some of the languages I've heard over the journals.

I was actually thinking the same thing. It's odd how little I've thought about putting language training into my daily routine. Whenever I had a business contract, I was always doing something to push myself ahead of the competition. Breaking language barriers was always the first option.

Here... I think I definitely took it for granted.

I think we all did if this is any indication. And I'm fine. Most of the people I speak with use English or Japanese so I understand them more or less.

So far it seems alright. I have a friend that speaks French, but most the people I've met all have a pretty decent understanding of English.

Now I wish I didn't blow Spanish class so much.
