[Welcome to the KITCHEN. There are four work-stations with a sign identifying the station and those working in it.

Your judges are already sitting at a table overlooking the entire kitchen and next to them is your flamboyant host who will inform you of what you'll be doing today and what the rules are.]

[Someone's wandering into the kitchen about twenty minutes after everyone else, and furrows her brow at the sign.]

[Chuck doesn't seem bothered -- incredibly amused, actually.]

[She takes her good sweet time walking over to where Chuck is.]

I'm Alex. So we're supposed to cook stuff?

[Chuck beams at her before rolling up her sleeves.]

I can put cheese powder in noodles and stir.

[Alex takes this moment to pull her wand from her boot - she figures that everything is easier with magic, so why wouldn't you use it to cook?]
