(It takes a lot to get his interest, and there's no time to catch up on details, but the gist is good enough.) He already decided he was inviting himself along, so there's not a lot of choice in it. In fact, he's already standing by the driver's seat with all intentions of taking it.]

[With no further objections, Spike is settling himself in the driver's seat (this will seem like a bad idea in about two minutes. Spike doesn't obey speed limits, so just think of it like... a roller coaster without seatbelts;;). He nods to the straggler.]
