It is now one day in the future, Friday the 12th! Assume that Riful, Arthas & Hank left one hour ago and using The Key, Joshua and Legato have left 10 minutes ago.

[having her wrists bound has certainly not become any more comfortable, but some of her panic has calmed into an indignant wariness with the departure of most of the villains. Billy and Tesla were hardly the most imposing of their captors.

Of course, remembering how easily Tesla had smothered her, she's not doing much more with her new-found confidence then sullen glaring]

[Billy was pretty sure that he'd heard engines... and potentially voices?... off in the distance, so he's not taking any chances. Grabbing up his his bundle of toys, he sets to work.

One stun mine placed and readied at the front door, another in a strategic place in one of the halls, and he finds himself a little nook that has a clear shot at the door.

Of course they would be sending a team after calling the other monsters out like that. It was an obvious enough plan, but... you can't exactly argue a man-eating monster when it smiles sweetly and says "I'm counting you." So... all he can do is buckle up and hang on.

[What Billy may not have heard is the sound of Jono flying in, using his Hard Light Generator to propel him through the air as quietly as he can manage. Thinking he's got the drop on whoever's left behind, he drops down out of the sky, landing at the front door. He knows it's risky, but they don't exactly have a map of what they're walking into, either. As he crosses the threshold, he notices something underfoot, and grimaces.]

Oh bloody hell...

[The mind goes off, exploding in a brilliant flash of light, dazing him where he stands, his energy shield extended around him, taking some of the sting away.]

[This is why John tends not to go FIRST when he enters anywhere there's dangerous people who want to hurt him. He carefully steps around Jono, drawing his gun and aiming it at Billy]
