[Vivi says nothing as she comes into the kitchen while he's cleaning. She just silently climbs up on a stool and pulls her knees to her chest. She's not crying, okay? Because big girls don't do that. She's just biting her lip really hard.]

[Not only does Sanji's girldar go off, but his distressed-girldar, too! Finding the source is extraordinarily easy, with poor little Vivi siting on a stool and looking miserable. Gritting his teeth at his... well, lack of ability to fix what's gotta be making her miserable, he breaks his own rule and wishes for a plate of cookies before going to sit down by her.]

[She sniffs loudly, climbs down from her stool, drags it closer to Sanji, climbs back up, sits down, and then wraps her small arms around his arm as if to make sure he doesn't leave her as well, the very picture of a dejected and lonely child.]

[Well, now, that's one of the most heart-breaking things ever. Sanji isn't good with kids, precisely, but he is good with despondent girls! He doesn't try to shake her off or anything, just reaches up and pats her head with his free hand, not really seeing much reason to say a whole lot at the moment.]

[after seeing this entry, Stocking decides to stop being a hermit and go seek out Sanji. a part of her wants to see how he is doing, and another part of her wants some company.

after she checks his room first, she walks into the kitchen, seeing him gloss over already-clean spots.]
