Ugh...

[Guy groans as he stares in horror at the large ship in the distance. He knows he'll have to get back on that damned boat soon, and the thought of it makes his stomach turn. Which is a pity, of course, since he's spent the past few days lying in bed, trying to calm his poor, seasick tummy down.]

It figures that the moment I started feeling ( Read more... )

[...Well, Archer's a little pissy after losing in the casino for a long while, and comes onto the beach spotting a kid.]

Hey, kid. I bet I can build a bigger castle than you.

[Guy looks over at the man standing near him.]

I'm not a kid. I just look like one thanks to the sodding castle. [Guy looks down at the pathetic sand mounds he's created.] And act like one...somehow.

[He sighs, and then looks up at the man. He's not used to looking "up" to people, being 6'2 normally.]

Guy of Gisborne. [He says, his voice still annoyingly squeaky.] And you are?

Well, that's annoying. Takes some of the fun out of it. [...Out of beating a kid at a sand castle competition...]

Sterling Archer. Secret agent. It's a pleasure.

Archer, eh? [Guy chuckles, thinking of his annoying baby brother who is also called Archer.] Since you're a secret agent... [He pauses, wondering if that job has anything to do with killing or maiming for fun or profit - if so, he might have something in common with this guy...] I take it that's a name, not an occupation?

[Guy looks down at the sand with strange longing. He's not sure why he cares so much about his little sand mounds, but he does; even worse: the urge to play in the sand is becoming strong again. Stupid sodding castle! He thinks. This is worse than being horny! He sighs again, and looks back up at the man.]

And, what's this about building a bigger castle than me? [He says, smirking.] I used to be a knight. I know my castles...

[She's on the cruise and she's extremely grumpy. She hates both cruise and grumpiness. She hates most things lately. She's even seen Guy, being a kid and hiding from her. As if she wouldn't recognise those bangs and long legs anywhere... She wouldn't dream of mothering him, she would, however, be delighted to give him a hard slap over the head.

After a long bout of seasickness, she's happy to be on land. A new bikini does wonder for her self esteem, but she can't figure out who Victoria is or why she wants to keep it a secret. She's eager to go swimming, counting on kid!Guy staying on the ship and not noticing him on the beach.]

[He's chatting with Sterling Archer when he notices her wading out into the water wearing the skimpiest article of clothing he's ever seen in his entire life. Bikini. He recalls, remember the last one Marian wore when she was trying to give him a flea bath. That one was quite lovely. This one, however, was... whoa momma. It was bliss woven into fabric - well, what little fabric there was - and on Marian, it was the best thing he'd seen. Ever.

Unfortunately, he was too young to enjoy it. While his thirty-five year old mind was quite taken with the scene, his eight year old body was ignoring it completely. Nothing happened. AT ALL. The more he stared (and drooled,) however, the more it began to drive him COMPLETELY insane. ]

She's trying to kill me. [He finally squeaked.]

Aaaaaahhhhh...

[She makes a contented sigh as she swims out, letting the water caress her limbs as she stretches out, rolls around... swims some more... Heavenly...

She then stands up again where the water reaches just above half her thights, brushing back her hair that is wet by the ends and enjoying the sensation of tendrils of water running down her body. She looks out over the glittering, turquois sea. Maybe not so bad, after all...]

[Guy puts his head down and blinks several times, trying to make himself forget he's looking at Marian. He then looks up, hoping that his mind will be blank; however, it's pointless. He still knows it's Marian out there, sighing happily and driving his adult mind crazy. It was a simple process of elimination, really: with all of the castle residents split up on different ships, and Guy knowing that Marian was on the same ship as him, it was quite easy to figure out. He could make memories of everyone else - everyone except the complete stranger in the tiny red bikini ( ... )
