[ It seemed like a small group at first, but by the time you make your way off the ship there's an entire crowd of people waiting for you. They're all shouting words of encouragement, it seems like. "Congrats!" "You've only got a little ways to go, COME ON!" "YOU GUYS ARE ALMOST THERE!" "YEAHHHH, PIRATES FOREEEEEVER!" "I LOST MY SANDAL?!" ]

[ It looks like that's not all, though. Just like last time, there'll be two possibly-familiar faces making their way to the front of the crowd to greet you and the crew with a hearty "WELCOME!" ]

[One of the familiar figures is very easy to spot, seeing how he is seven feet tall and in contrast to the rest of the people, is wearing all black except for a white bucket hat on top of his head. But at least like the other people, he is wearing a smile as he waves his bony fingers at the newcomers]

[ Still coming down from the shock? Well, now that the buzz with you and your crew is calming down, you should have some time to breathe. Look around some. Torre Shores is a lot more modernized than Twin Crag, so you'll find that things are a lot more close to the 20th century. ]

[ White sand beaches and islanders everywhere! The waves are perfect for surfing and the sand doesn't burn when you walk around. Will you hit the nearby shops with friends, head straight for the beach, or will you go and look for the two from earlier? ]

[Jack has settled himself in a very large pile of driftwood near the trail from the beach to the village proper. The pile's somehow managed to shape itself like a chair, and there are bottles of rum stuck in the forks of its many branches. there are also pouches and strings hanging from the branches, filled and covered with colorful beads and bits and bobs.

[Alan is heading up past Jack to get to the village when what do you know, he's getting flagged down by a crazy piratey man on a throne of wood and bottles of alcoholic beverages.

TORRE SHORE'S OTHER SIDE

[ Did a few of the native islanders tip you off? Yes, Torre Shore has another side where your crew is welcome to stay at. You must be tired of sleeping on your cruise liner, right? Well, they've got these floating hotels waiting for you on the other side of the island. ]

[ You can either get on a motorboat or choose to kayak the way there--Either way, it takes about 20 minutes to go around one side of the island to reach the village. Enjoy the view! ]

FLOATING HOTELS

[ The walk isn't so bad. Actually, it's kind of cool. These are the finest rooms on the island, rooms on stilts. Don't you find that cool? Hey, at least you get to sleep and wake up to the sound of waves right next to you. And the islanders are just too nice! ]

[ You are the guests of this island. So why not have a little fun while you're here? Bring in your luggage, or share a room with a friend. After that you can take a stroll through the village. ]

[Jack's canoed himself over with the rest of you, since he's on the hotel staff, and has set up a table that consists of a few barrels with boards over the top. there's also a stack of plastic cups, the kind most people use for beer pong. armed with a bottle of rum and a pouch full of shiny trinkets, he gets out another pouch and thunks it down on the table.
