[ Yeah, there's not a lot to see or do, really. Walk past the 'beach' and you'll start hitting the mainland. It's hard to tell the difference, though: it's all sand. Oh, and this giant hand is there to greet you. Carved into the palm is the name "DEATH HILL". ]

[Pippin is all decked out for adventuring with the new scarf he bought in Leukos wrapped around his head, a full waterskin on one hip and his sword at the other.

He stands staring up at the giant hand]

Huh. I'm not sure if's a greeting or a warning.

It's an ominous name, that's go sure. Doesn't exactly inspire a person to stop by for a visit.

[smiles and follows after, thinking to keep a close eye on this person who looks like a child]

Jilly's found a hat to shade her face, so she's coming along to see what's there to be seen...if anything.]

[ nudge isn't far away, poking the... giant hand.. ]

Huh... I wonder how they got it like this? And like, how does it stay up? Even the best sand castles crumble and fall when they dry out, right? And this place definitely doesn't look like there's anyone to come see about it.

It might be stone that hasn't worn down, yet.

[she'll come over to touch it as well] It looks like it's been here awhile.

True... it's pretty firm.

Doesn't look like it, but do you think there are people over there? [ she points to the town ]

It looks pretty abandoned. Still...there's only one way to find out.

[a smile as she tilts her head in that direction]

[ she nods and points dramatically ]

Onwards ho!! ...Or, whatever a pirate would say in a situation like this.

[she puts her hands on her hips with a wink] Forward me hearties!

[and then she'll start a silly, confidant stride in the direction of the town...or as silly and confidant as she can manage, on the sand]

[Wes is relieved to be on dry land again. Although this is probably drier than he would have preferred. Seeing a familiar face he comes forward to look at the hand as well from a few different angles.]

That's quite remarkable. The detail. The lines on the palm. The nails.
