There must be something we can do to protect them, isn't there? Make sure they stay inside at all times, assign them guards, anything?

Alleyne has been teaching them the basics of combat, which is a damn good idea. Even if they get separated from the rest of us, they can still defend themselves. [hopefully]

[For once, Raiden agrees with this. Having been a child soldier himself, he can't say that he agrees with children being involved in fighting of any kind.]

It's probably more important that those of us who choose to fight, should do it to protect the people we wanna keep away from the fighting.
