He doesn't chance it. Dropping the empty sack, he quickly steps back into the nearest nook of shadows, hand hovering at the hilts of his blades and sensitive ears trained on the entrance to the galley]

There are a lot of kids and civilians on the boat. He's pretty sure it's one of them. Or, at least he is until he spots that empty sack.

He's way more concerned about watching for people on the street than watching his back for ninjas, so he misses her presence entirely as he makes his way back. Stealthily running along rooftops, swinging down from clothes lines, cutting a path back to the ship using the narrowest alleyways]
