[hm hm, this one was heading outside when she hears Justina throwing a fuss. ldkghsadlh it takes her a minute to find the Princess, but when she does she hurries over]

[ Menace gets one more little glower before she turns to her, curtsies and smiles ]

[alsdghas nanako tries to curtsy back... but it's not exactly what you would call graceful]

Is that your cat?

[ details! but the fact that she curtsied? makes her smile some more ]

Yes, he is! Usually, he is on his best behavior..

[ her face turns a little red ]

I apologize! Menace has taken my ribbon..

[ it's purple, Stephanie! don't let him eat it ]

And now the name really fits.

[Steph ventures over and looks up into the tree.]

Here, kitty kitty... don't eat that unless you're ready to deal with the consequences, kitty...

[ oh-ho, Menace takes one look at Steph and proceeds to skitter up to a higher branch. meanwhile, Justinia huffs again ]

I agree! I suppose I shall just have to find another kitten who enjoys cream, a nice kitten who does not steal ribbons!

[Just a book floating around outside. Not in the library for once.]

What is the matter?

[It's an adorable scene, but he'd never admit that.]

[ .. floating book! but she isn't entirely surprised considering she's already been told about him ]

My cat is living up to his name..

[The less people freaking out over him, the better. More people back home had more issues with his manners than him being a book...]

And what would that be?

His name is Menace.

That is my favorite ribbon! He stole it off of my vanity this morning and has yet to return it.

[guess who's just reaching up into the tree to scoop the cat up and set it on the ground :B IT PAYS TO BE A SUPER TALL DUDE]

[ her knight in shining armor -- literally! for his service, she curtsies and smiles as she scoops up the kitten. ]

[Hey there, kidlet. Have another kidlet, who happens to be taking his own cat out for some fresh air.

A cat who is now circling the tree, looking up at Menace with a condescending expression.]

Say it a little louder and maybe he'll actually understand you.

[ she frowns but maybe he's right, even if Menace always seemed to understand before. a cat is still a cat in the end. Menace glances down at the other cat and almost seems to clutch the ribbon tighter ]
