At least, it was something to get back into doing.

[had taken over after Jo's shift and ... she's just quiet for a while]

Man. They're dropping like flies lately.

[Wipes down a nearby table]

Yeah, it does seem that way.

[sighs as she leans against the bar, fiddling with the glasses]

He's probably better off. He's been miserable lately.

[huntersdaughter]

[she chuckles]

Yeah. I mean, he was always quiet... but this was almost to the point where I'd just check on him to make sure he was breathing.

[ She sounds somber to a certain degree because bawww Eliot, but she makes a joke anyway. It's wry and resigned in tone, almost a little flat, but that's how she deals. ]

I told you that you'd be my boss someday.

[Jo can understand the upset, but on the plus side - he isn't dead back home and his world doesn't even have anything crazy going on. Just... corporations being mean!]

Does this mean I get to put up that chore wheel in the back room now?
