Well, thank God for that at least. And yeah, I wouldn't want these kids to have to deal with this too much, but--at the same time, I miss 'em pretty bad when they're gone.

We spent a week raising a kid together. That does things to a person.

And I agree with you there, York. I'm going to miss the kid, but if I'm lucky, maybe I'll be around next time they show up. But better this than the Meta getting at him as a human.

They seem like happy, lively, normal children. And this isn't the first time yours has been here. All we can do is hope for the best and care for them as well as we can for the week.
