There's the room that's really lots of things. And there's the maze.

[A chuckle] What sort of really lots of things?

It's got sand and snow and sometimes... uhm...

There's movies.

Ah, the four seasons room? Or maybe it should be renamed the two seasons room.

This week? If babysitting isn't your idea of fun, you might be a bit hard pressed.

[it's said without any real complaint. She's happy to have her daughter back, even for a week]

But there's always the four seasons room, on the tenth floor. Or the movie theater on weekends. And there are plenty of places in town worth visiting, if you just need a break from the castle.

Yeah, I found out about that a couple hours ago. It's keeping things interesting for now, though.

Four seasons room, huh? I'll have to check that out!

[a laugh] If there's one thing this place does well, it's interesting.

Be warned...the name's a little misleading. We're really only up to two seasons, so far.

Which seasons are we talking about? Because if it's nothing but boiling summer and freezing winter, count me out.

Och, that'll depend on your idea of it, aye? What do ye usually do for fun?

Well, my usual idea of fun involves a bit of danger or trouble, maybe some aliens, but there doesn't seem like much of that going around right now.

[thehumanfactor]

[A laugh.] Well no wonder ye got on with the Doctor.

Och, I'll agree with ye though, there's not much a that to do here once ye get used to the beasties what wander the halls. Not compared ta travelin about in the TARDIS, anyway.

We were like two peas in a pod! I'd get us into trouble, and he'd get us out again.

I've heard about the Dead Zone. Sounds worth a visit, but it can't be all that interesting if it's, you know, dead.

[hulloeverything]

As if you'd ever had any difficulty finding fun on your own. [laughs]

[perpetualized]

[A chuckle] I've already tried getting into some sort of trouble, but no luck. And this place is full of teenagers, and though I always love a younger man, even I have my limits.

[hulloeverything]

You say that now, just wait until the castle decides to turn you into one.

[that was an... interesting... week to say the least]

Being a teenager again, huh? It's been so long since the first time around, I'm not sure how that would go over with me.

Were you looking for a list? I know Rin's written one up before.

[perpetualized]

If it's the usual like the movie theater or four seasons room, I think I'll pass.

They're all a little more proactive. Learning new skills, teaching skills, going camping, outto the Dead Zone, down into the underbelly of Paradisa -- if I'm not sure how usual the Dead Zone or camping in general is for some folks.

I guess you could go dragon wrestling.

Or bear wrestling. We have bears.

The Dead Zone sounds like it would be worth a visit.

[A pause, and then Jack is grinning wide enough you could almost hear it.]
