[ The downside of name placards on doors -- Claire doesn't need anyone else to tell her where Peter's room is, she can find it for herself. And she's decided to, one way or another. If that means tearing up the whole castle -- figuratively -- she'll do it

[ Not the most harmful looking thing around, Nina is headed to the practice room with her daughter in hand and a grey tutu on the other. She notices the almost-familiar girl checking out the name placards and wonders if she is lost. ]

Hi. Can I help you?

[ After a once-over, she gets a cool response. ]

Doubtful. [ Time hasn't been good to Claire -- she hasn't become the nicest of people. ]

[ It was only then that Nina notices the gun in the other girl's hand, so she tugs at her daughter to hide behind her, her expression turning cautious. ]

You're-- Claire?

... Yeah. [ The recognition still isn't happening yet -- for Claire, it's been about four years, so not everything's coming together right. She notices the glance at her gun and slowly moves it behind her leg. ] Just looking for someone, that's all.

[after their last encounter, Peter has been preparing for a second round. He stands and waits for her, knowing she's going to figure out where his room is eventually]

[ Peter's room's up pretty high, but when she finally does get to where it is and read the name on the door, she doesn't hesitate. She may not have super strength, but she has the training to make it easy to bring one leg up and kick the door in, bringing the gun up and shooting into the room without so much as a hello. ]

[he really should've seen that coming. He's not quite fast enough to deflect it telekinetically this time, and he catches one of the bullets in his shoulder.

He doesn't want to hurt her, but she's a bit too trigger-happy. He takes one of his chairs and shoves it toward her. Maybe if he traps her he can at least take the gun away again. Or something]

[ When she sees the chair coming at her, she tries to put the gun away so it doesn't get knocked away, but there's not enough time. It slams her with the gun-arm pinned to her side against the wall with some seriously massive discomfort involved. She squirms. ]

This would be a lot easier on both of us if you'd just die already!

[ after noting that claire had missed two appointments in a row, lana couldn't help but be worried. she could just use the journal, but she dislikes how much people rely on that, so she's going to instead be heading to claire's room in the castle in the hopes of finding her ]

[ It's an awkward meeting -- after all, she practically plows into Lana coming out of her room while pulling the action back on her gun and loading a bullet into the chamber. She avoids collision, just barely, and stops short in an awkward, surprised way, green eyes widening. ]

... Hey.

[ hoooly cow. the shock of nearly being knocked over is enough to make her stumble back a bit, and seeing claire's new dye job is certainly enough to make both eyebrows go up. and what's with the...gun?

she feels like she missed something very important here. the gun wins out over the hair ]

Claire?! Are you okay? What's going on? I've been worried.

I'm fine. Worried ... ? [ She stops and then there's a look of realization as the memories sync up. ] Lana. Right, the training and -- I went home. I've just been trying to take care of some loose ends and get back into the swing of things.

Besides. No offense, but I've kind of moved on from what you can teach me.
