How many of you still want to go home? I always figured it was a most people thing, but the more I talk to the more it seems like a lot of people don't really mind being here, or their world's bad enough that they don't want to go back, or they just ... you know. Like it here ( Read more... )

I dunno... I mean, at first I wanted to go home. But a lot of stuff's happened here I don't want to forget.

I don't think anyone would want to forget it. But I think some of them would be willing to sacrifice it to be back where they belong. I guess the real question is where do you feel like you really belong?

-- Sorry. I mean, this is all hypothetical anyway, I don't want you to think that I'm looking for a specific "right" answer or something. I guess I just got to thinking about it.

No, it's fine... I just don't have a clue. I mean a lot of stuff I thought I knew about my world might be wrong so I don't exactly want to go back...but I kind of hate this place too.

I'd ask why you hate it but I guess the answer's pretty obvious. So, are you scared to go back and face the changes or is it that you just don't want to go back knowing you'll forget that you knew better than to believe what was wrong? -- Does that even make sense? It's so convoluted ...

I don't understand them. They've grown complacent. Plankton content to roam the seafloor, never seeking light.

Believe me, there's been light-seeking going on. It just happens that by comparison, Paradisa is the light for some ... plankton.

I think for a lot of people it's that way. Either they don't come from a place that's really worth wanting to go home to, or ... Paradisa's just the right fit for them. [ ... ] For us.
