[ so basically claire and akihiko are just out roaming the castle grounds outside, taking koromaru, penny and mr. muggles on a walk and just generally chilling. because like most of the castle, they thought they were safe. they were wrong. the carolling sneaks up on them in a conversation lull and they begin to bust out with this song. blah

[ what just happened.

one minute, he was just chilling casually and the next he felt he was the king of broadway. dear god, did he even... dance a little there?

he takes a few steps backwards, putting his arms up and staring at claire dumbfounded. ]

[ hey don't look to claire for answers, she's just as bewildered and confused and oh god a little horrified. she's snatching up the journal and closing it and stuffing it away in her bag now and trying to pretend ohgod that did not just happen.

promptly ducking her head as she tries to failstuff the journal into her bag, she lets her hair fall in her face in hopes that he won't catch on that she is just the most embarrassed person alive right now. ... with the exception of him. ]

[ his eyes dart to the journal. he realizes... much to his horror. ]

Was the journal open?!

Will you believe me if I say no? [ because clearly lying about it would make her a good girlfriend. :| she looks up at him with a sheepish, strained look once it's securely in her bag. ]

[ squints at journal. but she's not going to say anything because she went through her own horribly embarrassing musical too. AREN'T YOU TWO JUST ADORKABLE ]

[Thoughtful listening is thoughtful. Jono doesn't know who the bloke is, but he recognizes Claire's voice pretty much immediately. She might hear some telepathic chuckling in her head, as Jono can no longer restrain himself.]

That depends on who you plan on performing it for. I mean, I guess it's stupid to be embarrassed of singing in front of the castle after ... that. But still.
